From personal mission to mission-critical protection
A Mission Born from Experience
OZZI was founded by Isaiah Lopez, whose early life was shaped by instability and exposure to risk — including five incidents of gun violence before age fifteen. Those experiences inspired a lifelong mission to build tools that help people feel safer and more connected when life becomes unpredictable.
After the Paris terrorist attacks reshaped global travel, Isaiah built large-scale safety technology for American Express, delivering real-time travel intelligence to more than 50 million customers across 200 markets. That work led to the creation of OZZI — a safety platform authorized and used within the U.S. Department of Defense to help protect military families and support mission-critical operations, including during the Afghanistan evacuation.
The same mission-grade technology originally designed for military communities now powers the OZZI platform for everyday travelers. Today, OZZI is an AI-driven safety companion that delivers real-time alerts, global risk maps, location-aware intelligence, and geofenced guidance worldwide. By partnering with leading insurers, airlines, and online travel agencies, OZZI transforms passive travel insurance into proactive protection — keeping people informed, prepared, and safer wherever they go.
